Former Coronation Street actress Lucy-Jo Hudson has been announced as the new ambassador for Just a Drop's Mums Army campaign, and will work alongside the charity in recruiting mums up and down the country as Troop Leaders, to raise £250k and help bring clean water to mothers and their families in developing countries.

The mother of one commented 'I feel privileged to be involved in such an important campaign and look forward to working with Just a Drop to drive awareness of the increasing problem and, with the help of other mums, begin to make a difference. As a mother myself, this issue hits home hard and I want to do everything within my power to make someone else's life just that little bit easier'.
